…just encountering a simple problem. Using the Triangular Grid and trying to offset each cell boundary to the inside, but for some reason the offset direction seems quite random. Any ideas?
You could try scaling the triangles instead!
Here’s how to scale them by an offset distance, while the desired value is smaller than the maximum possible offset distance inwards:

Ok, figured it out… had to do with the orientation I was creating it. I set a vertical plane for the grid start. When I used the world XY plane and origin it works fine.
Use clipper and never go back.
