Thickening (Properties tab) not accepting 0.00x value

Hi,

I have a simple planar surface which I would like make thicker via the Properties tab > Thickening.

My file is set to meters and the absolute tolerance to 0.001. When entering the value into the thickening value form, Rhino won’t accept a value below 0.01.

What’s could be the issue here?

I’m running Rhino 8 (8.23.25251.13002, 2025-09-08)

It looks like there is a bug in the Thickness tool.
To test this, I make a rectangular surface using the Meters template.
Before trying to Thicken it, I went in to File settings, changed and modeling tolerance to 0.0001 (one order of magnitude finer then the modeling accuracy, AND set the display tolerance to 3 decimal places. Even then the Thickness tool only displayed 2 decimal places and didn’t sorl.
However, Offsetting the surface by 1 mm did work.

I tried in V9 too. The default tolerances are tighter in V9 but the Thickening tool had similar, but not identical problems too.

This should probably be buggified.

Buggified as RH-89564 Thickness: Allow More Decimals
