That seems like there are too many points for the Auto bolt component - 4 per branch? There should be only two in each branch, that are then matched up with the branches for the items.
And you should also remove the grafting of the items input, as I assume you want to have two plate items in each branch there (rather than the single ones you’d get with the current grafting).

Hi, in your first pic the 2 points in each group seem to be identical which I suppose wouldn’t work. In the second pic I’m not sure. Are you able to share a small example definition where the Auto Bolt insertion fails?
