SubD ToNurbs Bug

When using the ToNurbs command to convert subd objects, set faces (f) = unpacked extraordinaryvertex (E) = G2. The result is not smooth. When G1 continuity is set, sharp edges are displayed. Is this a known bug?

Hi Alen - the result is smooth across the vertex from what I see - but I see what you are reporting - the surface needs to distort quite a bit, in fact it seems to become planar, locally, in order to accomplish that.


Yes, after converting to NUBRS polysurfaces, this is not the same as the subd smooth state, so it can not be used in practice. Please fix this problem, thank you
