SubD Selecting surfaces defined by corners

Is it possible to select all faces defined by 4 corners and Double-click somewhere in the middle ?

not in one go, you can shift+ctrl+double click between those selections to fill in the row between them. (works for edges and verts too)

but then you select the center with the select to boundary tool-

May I suggest, In one go would be even better!
Select the corners and DoubleClick any Surface inside.
