SubD Scaling, Graphic bug?

Hello.
I found a bug-like issue with SubD and I would like to share it with you.
We are making a topographic model for 3D printing.
When we scale a large SubD to a smaller size, say 1/10000, the display goes wrong.
The behavior seems like a graphics problem.
Changing unit-related settings did not fix the problem.
At any rate, copy-pasting the SubD with the strange display into a new file fixed the problem.

Hi -

I’m not able to reproduce this in Rhino 8 based on the description here.

Hello
We use Rhino7.

I’ve reproduced it when working on my new SubD and other PC’s.
I will ask that us get Rhino 8 installed in our lab

Remember to raise the file unit tolerance or use the right units for the file. What size is that object when scaled down, and is it far from origin?

We often make a block of the object close to origin and then move the block when having to work far from origin.

I tried changing the units and tolerance settings at the beginning but the display didn’t change.
(meters to millimeters etc…)

At first the reference box for the scale was at a suitable position away from the origin, so I tried to scale this at the origin and it did indeed work.

Thanks.
