Stormwater pipe Help

Hi Everyone,

Change in career has had me away from grasshopper for a couple of years.

I’m trying to set up a piping model. I’m taking lines into Rhino and setting as curves. My stormwater pipes would be 2.2m in length. So what i hope is to be able to model the pipe along the curves and calculate the amount of pipes and rockers (Pipe cut offs to the Pits)…

When modeling and dividing the curve by 2.2m, the interpolating the curve, it sometimes skips past the curve node and bridges the corner. How can I break up a curve by 2.2m or an adjustable number and also include any points on the curve?

see my issue here

What’s the reason for the Interpolate Curve? If I Pipe your original curve that issue with the corners being bridged disappears.

I think I was hoping to set up the .GF file so that When I break up the curve length by the 2.2m or 4.4m depending on the pipe size, it would allow me to quantify the number of full pipes and the distance or length of pipe needed to reach the corner nodes of the curve? If that make sense?
