Split number into Domain

why are there so many components repeated?

The component doesn’t exist natively, different developers come up with their own solutions to them. Even internal to GH there are functions repeated and various ways to do things. Some people prefer making the solutions with native Grasshopper, some prefer scripting, some prefer plug-ins. Redundancy occurs often in software.

Wombats = input size, output domain neg to positive of that size.
Heteroptera = input size, output domain neg to positive of that size but with option to change the domain center.
Pufferfish = input extent (not size), output domain neg to positive of that extend number with option to invert.

I did not know about the other two when making mine (or even who was first), it is not possible to know every other plugins tools that exist. My stuff I make for me and the way I like to work (many other plugin writers do this also) it is there for free publicly and if anyone else find it useful they can use it, if not, that’s fine too, just get the work done.
