Split holes when open on solid works

Hi Everyone
I have a problem with the holes on close polysrf (through or not), they split in two when opened on solidworks (no other way accepted) on solid it’s easy to fix but take time, and I would like to solve this at the source.

I’ve tried many ways, booleandifference, wirecut, and other things. Maybe it’s that I put holes to soon on my parts and working on it after with edit point on or other edit tool but I always check the validity and for Rhino it’s always a green flag.

So is it Rhino 8 (Rhino 7 was fine)? my way of working? the conversion rhino to solid ? or some settings I’m not aware of?

Thanks you for your help and time !

Hi @Gattuso
It’s most likely a setting in SWX. Go to File>Open and select *.stp as the file type. That will let you access the options specifically for STP. Make sure you have “Merge entities” enabled. This is an old 2016 version of SWX, but it should be more or less the same :grimacing:

Split closed surfaces should be unchecked for export.
