Some problems on the displaced facade or zigzag facade, needing help!

I am trying to make the zigzag facade line as the first picture shown, but I can’t figure out which part
I deal with by mistake. Can someone help me figure it out or help me simplify the process. Thanks a lot!

Just find the key point, and change the choice of the battery.

Much simpler, thanks a lot, but for others, the logic is not just convex the same distance as the picture shown
