Nevertheless, each subsequent session is getting worse, the files take longer to upload and the textures multiply with each input?

This sounds related to this youtrack on textures in worksessions i filed recently and has a fix coming in 8.7.

Rhino Worksession Taking 5 Minutes to Load

I have a 114mb context model that opens very quickly in rhino but when I load it as a worksession file it takes 5 minutes to load. I’m guessing it has to do with the 163mb 10,000px x10,000px texture file applied to the mesh. I’m sure it has to do with keeping worksessions light but just curious if there is some way to make it load faster. I’ll send the files to support@mcneel.com if anyone at McNeel cares to take a look.
