Shortcuts / Toolbars for Select Object Layer & Select Sublayer Objects

I cannot seem to find any info on these two functions and if it possible to either launch them from a toolbar or a shortcut. Am I just missing something obvious here? Please let me know.

Select Object Layer

Rhino 8 added the HighlightObjectLayers command for this one.

Select Sublayer Objects

There is no command for this one. The work-around is to use SelLayer and select all layers that you want. It’s also possible to script this, as, for example, done by Mitch here:
