Set Layer Color Via Command Line?

I often set custom colors for objects using this Macro:

! -Properties Pause Object Color Object Colorpicker

But I’m wondering if there’s a way to do this with changing the enter layer color. Sometimes changing the objects by colors ends up creating a messy file with lots of custom layer colors and I end up thinking it would’ve been easier to just quickly change the layer color as I go.

So in summary what I’m asking about it whether there is a fast command line option that can change layer color

Hi Paul - the -Layer command shoukld get you there. (dash in front of the command name)
