Select curves of mesh in specific direction

You could simply explode the data tree, either before or after creating piped surfaces.

I am interested in Grasshopper, but I don’t really know how to create a script myself. I used his script, but it did not work for me, and I have a complicated shape to work with. all i want to do is to select all the curves in the same direction but i guess i will do it manually
