Searching for "lens" tutorial

Hi, have been searching the internet for an older tutorial where a person made simulated lenses in Rhino and the fabricated them by cnc milling acrylic plates. He did a render simulation of the effect by placeing an image in front of the lens and you would get an understanding how the lens “distorted” the image. Thought I have seen it on Vimeo (or youtube) but cant remeber. Is there anyone that can recall this tutorial? Any help would be great
