The Rochlau R-21 ‘Tamper’ is a fictional aircraft concept for a mid-20th-century airliner which implemented variable-geometry wings - a technology which has been implemented in several military applications, but never in the commercial realm. I’m an industrial designer with a background in aerospace engineering and make imaginary aircraft like these as a hobby! This project was modeled in Rhino 7, and rendered in Blender Cycles (with backgrounds and editing added in Photoshop). I would love to know what you think!

Nice design
Nevertheless, I am a little doubtful about its narrow engines being able to provide enough power for propulsion, although you have considered afterburner chambers for them that probably increase fuel consumption. Or maybe my estimate is going wrong.
Are those engines turbofan, though seem to be turbojet?
However, it is a masterwork
Off the top of my head, this reminds me of the VF-01 valkyrie from Robotech/Macross (based off the f14 tomcat). The windshield also looks that of a space shuttle.
I’d love to see your other works as well.
Amazing design, James!
Very very nice.
