Rhombus - curves

IM TRYING TO CREATE ON GRASSHOPPER AN IMAGE I FOUND ON THE INTERNET. WHICH ORIGINALLY I DREW MANUALLY AND NOW TRYING TO GET THE RESULT ON GH. THE TARGET IS THE IMAGE ON THE LEFT AND WHAT IM GETTING ON GH IS ON THE RIGHT. MY QUESTION IS, HOW DO I MAKE THE LINES CURVES FOR A SMOOTHER RESULT TO THE RHOMBUS GRADUALLY CHANGING SIZE.

THANKS.

I can’t make out your file because it is zoomed out and you didn’t attach it.

But it looks like instead of polylines you should create interpolated curves.

YES SORRY HERE IT IS. RHOMBUS (2).gh (10.1 KB)

WOULD THAT NOT MEAN I WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE MY DEFINITION? AND USE POINTS?

Your surface is referenced from Rhino but not included, so your file doesn’t do anything.

I’ve replaced it with a regular _Plane surface made in Rhino which I think is what you had, but see this page about the best ways to share data.

Without changing the basic approach you took, I joined the lines into polylines, then extracted the control-points and fitted interpolated curves through them. I also added two Shortest List components to get rid of your singular domains. Rhombus (3).gh (22.0 KB)

Thank you for your reply and apologies about the attachment.
I think that i will need to change my approach and figure out another way if i am going to achieve my target.
Thanks for your help anyway.

agh! its caps that was preventing me from replying!
