I agree that we could have communicated this better. In hindsight, we should have pinned this topic - or even something more clear - to the top of this (and other) categories here on Discourse - over a month ago (when it was first posted). It was too hidden in the pile to be seen by enough of the community.
This is not accurate. Today is Monday, 21 July, 2025. We plan to ship the first RhinoWIP that drops Intel support tomorrow, Tuesday, 22 July. That means that the current RhinoWIP (shipped on 15 July) - 9.0.25196.12306 - still supports Intel. You can download 9.0.25196.12306 if you don’t already have it. That RhinoWIP expires around the end of August. As of right now, you have 39 days to use that RhinoWIP. After we ship the next RhinoWIP, refrain from updating. If you accidentally do update, just download it again…it will continue working until it expires at the end of August.
I realize this is cold comfort. It’s still not much time. I do fundamentally agree we could have done a better job announcing this far and wide. I hope you can accept my apology. I hope we don’t lose you.
