Rhino7 crashing when trying to edit materials

Hi I am having problems since last update (seemingly) - system run flawlessly since new build until this week.
Every time I try to open or edit the materials for a given layer the program crashes out completely. This happens on a model or a blank session of Rhino. Not had this kind of problem failure in 15years of using Rhino. Can anybody help with a fix or repair or has anyone else come across this?

It lags for 5 seconds at least while editing material- I thought it is a feature

before last week I had the same experience - lagged a bit then was ok - now not even working :frowning:

Hello - are you running Flamingo?

Can you please run the SystemInfo command in Rhino and copy/paste the results here?

Hi Pascal try this

Hi Andy - 7.11 exposed a bug (in Flamingo) - for now, please revert to 7.10, I believe there is a fixed version of 7.11 in the works that will allow Flamingo to carry on as expected.

Hi Pascal,
thanks will do
I am not actually using Flamingo as 5.5 does not work well compared to the Rhino render function
But will revert and try

Many thanks

Hi Andy - you can just disable or uninstall Flamingo then, and keep 7.11.

Hi Pascal,
thanks will do - have uninstalled Flamingo and so far has not crashed

@pascal

Hello - you have quite an array of third party plug-ins. I would start by disabling all of those in Options > Plug-ins page, and then closing and restarting Rhno. Enable and load these one by one or in small groups, and see if you can figure out which, if any, is the bad guy.
