Rhino Through commands and report

hello.
Rhino has some "Through’’ commands, like LineThroughPt, PlaneThroughPt, CurveThroughPt etc.
As I understand, there is an internal computation using linear regression. These commands are very useful if I can get a report for the residuals. Is there a way, even via Grasshopper to accomplish that?

This seems like maybe a question for the Developer, Scripting, or Grasshopper categories.
You might consider moving it to get in front of a better audience.
