As part of the Conveyor toolkit, we included the Semantic - a plugin for managing custom properties and data managing UI. The original inspiration was to create a flexible scheme that enabled data reporting similar to Revit schedules and parameters. Users can create object- and document-level properties and activate live “queries”.
As consultants, we’ve used this framework to create dynamic cost estimation models and to embed properties for fabrication and sequencing. The properties added to Rhino objects will transfer to Revit as shared project parameters when they are imported.
