Rhino 8 v16 keeps quitting whenever I want to use the "material tab"!

Rhino 8 Crashes when I try to use Materials

Please try restarting your device. If it persists then: restart Rhino without opening a document, then Rhino 8 > Settings > Rhino Render. Switch to the CPU tab and make sure CPU is checked as render device. Then restart Rhino and see if this helps with materials. Please send in crash reports when the Rhino crash reporter dialog appears after a crash - do fill in your email address, that helps us to understand better about crashes, and potentially reach out for more information.

This started happening with MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1, it is a crash in the Metal drivers. Especially M3 hardware seems to be affected. I have notified our Apple contact about it.
