I’m not seeing any additional crash reports from your forum email address, you may need to send me your email via DM.
Did you remove the 3rd party plugin? Is this happening during rendering?

Hi Japhy,
It’s happening frequently, both when Enscape is open and when it’s closed. Most of the time it crashes, I don’t even get the option to send a report. It has occurred another 5 or 6 times today alone.
The new Apple version 15.6 is not yet available, so I haven’t been able to try that fix.
This issue is really frustrating, and I’m currently saving my work every 2 to 3 minutes to avoid losing progress.
Thanks,
Here is a report from yesterday:
Hi Mirror -
This is not about having Enscape open or not. To test if Enscape is involved, you’ll need to go to the Plug-in Manager in Rhino, remove the check mark in the “Enabled” column for Enscape, and then restart Rhino.
There is nothing attached in this reply.
Checking for recent crashes from your account still only shows one crash from June 16.
As Japhy noted, it’s possible that you are using a different email address when sending in the report. If so, please provide that other address in a PM to us.
Also, is it only the Apple crash report window that pops up, or does the Rhino window also pop up? We only have access to reports that are sent in from that Rhino window.
Finally, did you ever try setting rendering to CPU as was suggested?
Here are the steps to do so:
-wim
I think MacOS 15.6 (probably still beta at this moment) is supposed to have these crashes fixed.
Hi im having the same problem with Rhino crashing a lot without doing anything challenging. It crashed 3 times in the last 3 hours or so whilst doing really basic stuff in a relatively small file. I have send crash reports most of the times it happened during the last days. I am on M1 Max with macOS 26 but can’t compare it to earlier Versions because I just switched from Windows where this never happened. I don’t think it has something to do with the hardware because CPU and RAM are running at around 7-10% whilst using Rhino.
Hi Jonas,
Please run SystemInfo in the Rhino command line and post the results. Thanks!3

Lets get you on 8.24 (sending a link privately), this incorporates the latest improvements on MacOS 26 compatibility (not a supported os yet)
I’m still having the same issue. I’ve noticed that most of time it happens when I work in the material palette or change the material of an object from the Properties:Material palette.
It’s impossible to work with right now. Sometimes it crashes every time I click on Materials palette.
I just sent the latest crash report (I can’t copy it here because it’s too long).
Hi Mirror.Roma,
Can you post an updated SystemInfo? Thanks!
It exceeds the number of characters…how can i send it otherwise?
post as a txt file
You need to run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste that information. Not some information that you find in different places.
-wim

Lets remove Enscape for troubleshooting purposes.
Its worthy to note you were seeing the same issue before upgrading to Tahoe.
Rhino plugins that do not ship with Rhino
After removing Enscape lets run the Reset command and do a factory reset.

What are the steps to repeat? I see a number of crash reports (thanks for reporting), but not all the same, most related to rendering it appears.
Basically when I work inside the material palette happens. I already changed the Render device to CPU. It should something related to the materials and Enscape I think.
Any news by your side?
