Rhino 8 - Can I permanently disable Auto Enable CPlane -

I don’t like the effect this has on my blocks. We do a lot of file sharing so I have been doing work with projects with blocks only to have the c plane change. I can’t undo this and now all my blocks are compromised. Its awful when it happens I don’t know how to get back to the original plane. Will that mess with my blocks too?

Otherwise, I’d like to just permanently disable this option for all files on my computer if possible. I can’t afford to lose work like this anymore if I forget to check if the drawing has AutoEnableCplane enabled

I’m sure I’m missing something big so thanks for the time making it this far. I really appreciate any help, thanks.

Hi Justin -

The AutoCPlane feature is not a document feature. If the feature is disabled, it won’t get enabled unless you click the button on the status bar or run the command. It sounds like there’s something else going on with the blocks. Can you share more details about the exact workflow, and, perhaps provide a file that is involved?
