Thanks @Gijs , All the icons i’ve been creating as .png have been 512x512 pixels as this has worked in the past and then is a high enough resolution to easily convert it to .svg if needed. Here’s an example of the one in question: [ICO_Convert_To_Model_Units]

I don’t see any difference with icons in user objects created in V7 or V8: [image]

Interesting… I just tested on a legacy IronPython2 component and the icon is fine (as you see on your end). Can you please test with the new Script Editor component in R8? It is on that component (turned into a user object) where I am getting the blurry icon. Thank you!

How odd… also I only get the default Python3 logo on the actual component on my end… Let me try a system restart. One moment

Okay “good”. That’s my experience as well. System restart did nothing. Icons are fine with clusters and legacy script components as well. It seems to be directly related to the updated V8 Script Component. Sharing this with you @eirannejad in case it helps. Thank you both!

I can now see it, I actually did not open up the editor before turning it into a user object. Now I see the same blurry icon and missing icon on the component:
