Rhino 7 snapping Mac

I’ve just moved back over from PC to IOS… When Rhino WIP for Mac was being tested I was using it quite a bit with a MacBook Pro. I’m now using V7 with a MacStudio but there seems to be a bit of an issue with osnap?

It seems to have a problem snapping to surfaces and solid models in orthographic and perspective views - is this a known issue?

It will snap to some corners and end points of an extruded cuboid (very simple) but when I move to another corner the cursor hangs on screen then catches up but won’t snap to two of the four vertices…

I’ve searched but couldn’t find anything specific.

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks Andy. There isn’t much we can do with Rhino 7 on the latest macOS. Downgrading your OS or using Rhino 8 is recommended.

Thanks for looking. I’m holding out for Rhino 9 later this year for the upgrade… I downloaded Rhino 8 trial quite a while ago but used it once or twice.

Never been penalised for running the latest OS before on paid software, but I get it

Is there any chance I can have another 90 days trial but for the Mac, please?

Cheers,

Andy

I hear you, the changes required to get Rhino 7 fully supported in Tahoe were too big to over come. Rhino 8 was doubtful there for a bit.

We don’t have any mechanisms to renew or extend trials unfortunately.

I’ve just dismantled my PC and sold it for parts… Don’t ditch Mac OS now! Rhino and Keyshot are the only things I have a computer for. Otherwise I’d have an iPad and a phone lol
