Rhino 7 Copy&Paste slower than Rhino 6

Hello folks,

I recently upgraded from Rhino 6 to Rhino 7 and noticed that copy&paste - even with simple objects - takes longer than Rhino 6. Do you have any idea if this is a bug or is there somewhere a new hidden perfomance slider / value within the options menu?

Rhino 6 Version is 6.32.20340.21001, 05.12.2020
Rhino 7 Version is 7.1.20343.9491, 08.12.2020

I made a quick video of the issue. Notice the windows wait cursor turning some additional rounds :see_no_evil:
