Relax surface control-points but keep G0, G1 or G2

Hello everyone,

sometimes, if I “MatchSrf” a surrounded surface, I get a messy surface as a result with a very uneven spaced control-point layout. Is there a other option to “clean up” the control-points other than Ctrl+Z?
If would be even better if I can say “relax the control-point spacing, but keep the outer ring of control-points where they are, so G0 is still true ( or outer two rings for G1… and so on ).

Example:

To planarise hull curves between selectable start and end CVs, you could try this ingenious tool (script) by Pascal Golay. Maybe that’s what you’re after.
