Region in detail view

It seems that adding region in a detail view is not possible with the current version of Rhino.Inside.
Is there a workaround?

I think this has more to do with your 2D Boundary Geometry possibly not being in the view plane

Edit: More info about your view would be helpful, that error is about the view.
