Reference picture from Rhino to GH

Hi,
is there currently any way to reference picture (surface + special material (picture) = picture) from Rhino into grasshopper and bake it back?

Any way means either native (perhaps non existent), known plugin or known script. Or in case of no script at least methods which could be used in custom script.
Sampling picture into mesh etc is not acceptable option.

I have probably found a way.

Elefront enables referencing blocks so just put picture in the block and reference it with extended geometry. Baking also works.
