Radial dim annotation not displaying next to radius being dimensioned

When I try to use the radial dimension command on the corner of a polysurface that is curved, the annotation now seems to auto locate to a different c-plane in the middle of the object, nowhere near the radius I am trying to measure.
I am measuring in the perspective view, but I have never experienced this issue until today.

The top screenshot (below) highlights the radius that I am trying to measure and the screenshot below that shows where the annotation then defaults to….

If I toggle ‘Horizontal to view’ on or off (either way) it seems to fix the issue temporarily, but this is not practical everytime I want to measure a radius.

I might have switched something on or off accidentally but has anyone else had this issue?

Hi Paul -

I don’t see a CPlane in those images, so it’s hard to tell what’s going on.
Please post a 3dm file that we can take a closer look at.

Hi @wim,

If an edge being dimensioned is parallel to the cplane then the radial dim is placed at the same height. If it isn’t parallel then the dim drops to the cplane.

As soon as you then change the style or edit the dim properties, the dim pops back up to the level of the dimensioned curve.
