Is there any published guidance for developers on reading a rhino3d file programmatically (i.e., outside of the rhino modeling tool software environment?)

Also take a look at rhino3dm if you’re using JavaScript, Python or .NET (rhino3dm replaces Rhino3dmIO). There are also samples for both openNURBS and rhino3dm and, of course, #opennurbs and #rhino-developer:rhino3dm.
