When we draw polyline, our reference collects the word top but we want to draw on the z axis too, how can we do this
Try ‘elevator mode’ use ctrl+click in another viewport.

you don’t have to switch viewports.
ctrl-click on a point. this indicates you’ll be going vertical from there.
the next point will be place on the z axis
