PillScript is a C# script component for Grasshopper in Rhino 8, in Maths > Script.
It is not on the package server, so the Package Manager will not find it. The .yak is a download
from Releases · theObjectCo/PillScript · GitHub , and the readme shows the Yak command
to install it.
The editor is Monaco with Roslyn behind it: completion, hover, signature help and diagnostics off
the same reference set the build uses.
Each script is a folder with a csproj, so it opens in Visual Studio, Rider or VS Code. Packages
restore with the .NET SDK. The source is still stored inside the .gh file. Inputs and outputs are
read from the RunScript signature, so no parameter is dragged on by hand.
A script can also put controls in a Rhino panel:
register.Slider("radius", 1, 50, 12, out radius);
register.Button("bake", out bake, label: "Bake to Rhino");
The plugin runs on Windows only and needs Rhino 8.30 or newer.
