Parametric steel joint in Grasshopper

Hi,

I need a little help creating a Grasshopper script for a joint parametric design. It would be great if someone could either help me create the script or guide me a bit. I found some articles, and I’m wondering if this Grasshopper script would be helpful if I follow it. One script is clear, but I’m not sure what the other one is for—it seems related to the joint.

No screenshots.

I have to agree with Quan Li, here. It’s not that you can’t post screen shots, but if you can’t provide us with a GH file to work on, it means either that the problem is not specific enough, or that you haven’t put in enough effort in solving the problem for yourself so far.

As a general break-down of the problem, you need to first define a surface, and then create a network of curves projected to the surface, mapped to the surface, or created on the surface via UV lines. Then you need to find the vectors of the curve segments as well as the surface normals at the intersection points. After that, the creation of the joint geometry becomes rather moot.

Both scripts you show start with the assumption that the axis geometry of the intersections are clarified. You need to first get to that point. Baby steps.

I found this online for the joint I need the script for something similar
Midpoint is wrong they are not joining in all three branches
you can check the other example and the screenshot I need the script to be work like the upper first screenshot of the joint
