Parametric problem

Hi,
I’m creating a parametric bench. I originally planned to create a part that would connect all the pieces, but I’m struggling with doing that and have decided to squash everything together and have all the components be besides each other. However, I can’t seem to find the logic on how to do that without altering the thickness of the components, since that is the thickness of the material I will use. It seems like a simple fix, but I just can’t seem to think of it. Can anyone help?

This is the best way to create a waffle structure in my opinion. It fixes a flaw in the original method for creating slots in this thread (which needs a better title!). I added part where you move the curves closer by the distance minus the thickness.

If you know the thickness from the beginning it would be cleaner to use that to subdivide the curves, but didn’t wat to re-write your script since its working. So just patched that part
