Panels on complex surfaces

Hello everyone,
I have created a surface in another programme. This surface is supposed to represent the roof of a tunnel. The structure consists of rectangular beams with glass in between. Unfortunately, I am already having problems with surface morphing. I cannot get the surface to be ‘smooth’.

I would be very grateful if someone could help.

not really  you have create 16 different Surfaces which are joined together into a Polysurface → that is the origin of most of the troubles

I have extracted some edges from that Polysurface, then used Network Surface command in Rhino to generate a single Surface out of them (not the best Surface you can get, you can still work on that a lot to make it better, but just to show you the difference):

Thank you very much. However, there are still problems. Firstly, the ‘rectangular profiles’ are not extruded vertically, so the profile is not realistic.
If I try the other method with surface morph, nothing works. (screenshot 22_1)
I’m still stuck.

roof constr22_0.3dm (700.5 KB)

roof constr 22.gh (18.9 KB)

both works :upside_down_face:
results are different - choose

roof constr 23_jvs.gh (23.7 KB)

or…like this it works to the same result:

roof constr 24_jvs.gh (47.8 KB)
