Osnap toolbar disabled problem

I’m trying to use the Persistent On Surface Osnap but when I hold the Ctrl key down to make the Osnap options appear, they’re all greyed out and I cannot do anything with them. I tried resizing the Osnap panel, undocking it, etc. but those hidden options are always disabled. I also tried them in different models but that doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Is there anything I need to do to make them enabled or are they only for specific situations?

Hello - these can be set only when Rhino is actively prompting for a point - inside a command.

-Pascal

Thank you Pascal - I see now, it does work. I’d suggest updating the Osnap UI - it’s very confusing how it looks, even when an item is selected. I tried before multiple times with the Points command and I thought the options were disabled.

It may also be useful to have an obvious button (in addition to the Ctrl key) to switch to the hidden view - I had no idea these existed even though I’ve been using Rhino for some years now.

Thank you again and happy new year!
