Opening Grasshopper File Resets Rhino to Factory Settings?

Hi,

When opening a Grasshopper file from Finder (by double-clicking), the following messages pop up, when Rhino 8 (8.14.24345.15002, 2024-12-10) launches on macOS 14.7:

After that comes the super annoying surprise! You’re entire Rhino is reset to factory settings!!

How? What? I should have known better…
