I have a problem with offseting a simple curve, and dont even know how to describe it.
Below I attach a picture of whats happening, any ideas what am i doing wrong or how to fix it?

The offset command is cplane dependant, so if you have the top cplane active and try to complete the command from the perspective viewport, the offset will sideways rather than in/out. Use the appropriate viewport to obtain a side view of your curve and complete the command from there.
