Nvidia DLSS

This tech is pretty nice.

Watched this video yesterday. Very interesting but still at an early stage and may never make it into cycles due to the licencing - as mentioned in the end of the video. Theoretically AMDs equivalent FSR may have a better chance of getting there some day - I assume AMDs implementation relies more on open source code, so less problems with the licencing.

For my personal workflow it is less interesting. I guess for anyone who is rendering animations it would be very helpfull.

According to this post it looks like they are now actively working on integrating DLSS into Cycles. It might actually be coming sooner than later. Concerns regarding the licencing don’t seem to be an issue any longer.
