So, when can we expect to be able to code with .NET 7 in Grasshopper etc. 
It seem like there has been a lot of progress, like NativeAOT (Ahead Of Time, compiling to .exe that is) and lots of performance enhancements.

.NET 7 isn’t supposed to be released until November. That is when we will investigate using it in Rhino 8. We will probably base Rhino 8 on .NET 7.

Not sure how much it matters, but .NET 7 is not an LTS release, support ends a bit earlier than .NET 6. The next LTS release is .NET 8.
I’m not sure how much it matters either. This is something we will need to figure out.
