Need Help Understand Why My Roof Is Not Solid

Hey Rhino Community,

When I tried to extrude my roof with the top surface of my walls and diagonal lines, it didn’t appear solid.

Does anyone know why my roof is not completely capped and solid and how can I fix this issue?

@Damon_Davis_Jr Welcome to the forum. It is very difficult to answer most questions about problems with a model using only an image. Upload a .3dm file with a copy of your geometry including any lines and curves you used to create surfaces. You can drag the file to where you type a post, or click on the vertical arrow icon above where you type a post.

Here’s my .3dm file with my house in progress:

HI Damon -

I’m not sure what that means.
Apart from that, it’s not clear to me what the intended result would be.
If you need a solid roof, you can use the ExtrudeSrf command on the roof surfaces:

I’ll clarify myself. What I had wanted was a thick solid triangular roof, not only thick parts of the roof.

So if I use the ExtrudeSrf command, will it do that?

Not sure about the workflow, but you could draw the triangle and then extrude it and cap it.—-Mark
