I think railrevolve should do.
or just sweep1
If what you’re sweeping is curves.
rail revolve worked quite well. thank you.
can I asked you how it would be possible to have the sides of the shape taper inwards?
I am trying to make four identical and connected shapes that look separate from each other. as if the transitions between each shape undulated into each other.
In that case sweep1 may work better.
You need to put more cross sections though.
Also you might want to do the sweep couple
of times separately io you want clean flat top.
Say you have current size cross section
at zero deg. you can copy the cross section using rotate and copy on at say
around 80deg.
Using sweep1 with cross sec just created
and rail as full circle, you have 80deg of surface.
You then rotate© the surface by 90degrees.
Now you have two surface with 10deg worth
of blank blank space.
You now need to create a cross section
with lower height at around 85deg right in the
middle of the space.
Now do sweep1 using the edges of the surfaces and the cross sec with lower height as your cross section for sweep1.
Thank you so much. Will try this out.
