I need to create groups of custom door types with glass in varying configurations in multiple doors. Solids subtracted from a door are lost within a block, whether the block is created after the subtraction, or if the subtraction happens within the blocks.
It appears that voids created by subtraction from doors do not move when the door does? Maybe if the voids are grouped with the doors prior to subtraction… No, it appears that every single iteration of an identical door with an identical subtraction has to have the subtraction accomplished in a separate command. If the door’s moved, the subtraction has to be undone and redone.
If there’s a way around this, please let us know.
