Multiple errors importing into Solidworks & Visi

Hi,

I have designed a part that I’m not at liberty to upload to the forum which won’t import into either Solidworks or Visi without multiple errors, yet it 3D prints fine (STL) and has no naked or non-manifold edges according to Rhino.

Solidworks reports multiple mismatched faces and gaps and Visi is unable to section the part.

If anyone has any knowledge of the causes of these apparent errors, i be most grateful for advice.

Hi JC - please send the file to tech@mcneel.com, or send it to me by private message, I’ll take a look.My guess is it is a matter of tolerances, but who knows.
