Middle contour of plate

Is there a simple way to obtain the contour of a flat sheet metal along the centerline rather than on the outer surfaces?

Hi,

This is one way of achieving what you want, might not be the fastest way but it works, and it works regardless off the Position (Front/Middle/Behind).
