Mesh Split / Surface Split

Hello everyone,
I have prjected a 2D drawing of a tiling pattern on my floor in Rhino8 and now I wanted to split the floor so that I am able to change the colour of each and every tile. Since spliting the surface with this many tiles would be very logn process (I have tried that already using the Split option) I have opted for converting my floor into a mesh and then using a SplitMesh option. For some reason this does not get executed at all - my progress gets stuck at 33% every time.

I have read the discussion on similar topics but still could not succeed to achieve the results that I wanted (every tile being separate surface or a mesh).

Do you know any way to achieve this? I am attaching my Rhino file (swiss transfer link since the file is a bit to large to directly import here): SwissTransfer - Send large files securely and free of charge

Could you please give it a try with Boundary Surfaces ?

Oh, amazing, thank you, I have tried using SplitSurface in grasshopper but I was not familiar with boundary surface tool. I will try that. The only problem I have with that tool is that the tiles that are not closed curves are ignored and thats what I actually need to show the cut of this irregular pattern.
