Note: obtaining the mesh edges, then intersecting the regions and remeshing them is not a valid procedure for me.

LoL because I had to force point inclusion testing by scaling the splitting box because the split mesh centroid was still inside it
the one shown here is a very stupid and unreliable way of culling the trimmed patches… I didn’t figure out anything better at the moment, someone will for sure post a much smarter filtering soon
