I’m downloading a new service release candidate, and the percentage does not update, although it seems like the download is in progress in the background.

I’m downloading a new service release candidate, and the percentage does not update, although it seems like the download is in progress in the background.
Yeah, it’s not real-time. If you close options and re-open it will update, when it’s finished it will tell you it’s ready to install.
Yeah, that’s exactly what I see. Perhaps not a bug…

As an offline user I’m not familiar with the background download operation but I’m curious:
Does the background download take place at a very slow data rate so as to not significantly affect other application performance and thus watching a live update of the subject panel would be like watching paint dry?
Here it downloads pretty fast, if I see a partial result and close the dialog, wait a half minute and then try again, it is usually already done. But I have a fast connection.
